Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account, not inside Videflo. Apple takes the payment, so Apple holds the controls — including cancelling, switching plans, and refunds.
Videflo's Settings screen has a Manage Subscription link that takes you straight there.
Where to find it
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap your name at the very top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Choose Videflo from the list.
From here you can switch plans, cancel, or see when it next renews.
The shortcut inside the app is Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription, which opens the same page.
Apple moves these things around
The exact wording changes between iOS versions. If what you see doesn't match, Apple Support publishes the current steps for managing subscriptions.
Cancelling
Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Videflo.
Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Your Tapes are not deleted. They stay on your iPhone whether you're subscribed or not.
- Subscribing again later restores access to everything, exactly as you left it.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription
Removing Videflo from your iPhone leaves the subscription running and renewing. It has to be cancelled in your Apple Account.
Deleting the app *does* delete your Tapes — so cancel first, and export anything you want to keep before you remove it.
Switching between monthly and yearly
Both plans are part of the same subscription, so switching is a change rather than a second purchase — you can never end up holding both.
Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Videflo and pick the other option. Apple handles the timing and any proration according to its own rules: moving up usually takes effect straight away, and moving down usually takes effect at the next renewal.
Refunds
Apple bills for App Store purchases, so Apple handles refunds under its own policies. We aren't able to issue one ourselves, however much we might like to.
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
Find the Videflo purchase and choose Request a Refund.
Pick a reason and submit it. Apple decides the outcome.
If something in Videflo is broken, please tell us as well as Apple. We can't refund you, but we can fix it — and we'd like to.
Tips
Cancel a day or two before the renewal date rather than on it. Apple charges for the next period slightly in advance.
Check when it renews in that same Subscriptions screen — it's shown right under the plan.
Export your Tapes before cancelling if you're planning to remove the app. Cancelling alone doesn't touch them, but deleting the app does.
Common mistakes
Deleting the app and assuming the billing stopped.
It doesn't. Cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions — and note that deleting the app also removes your Tapes.
Looking for a cancel button inside Videflo.
There isn't one, because an app can't cancel an Apple subscription. Manage Subscription in Videflo's Settings takes you to the right place.
Troubleshooting
Videflo isn't listed under Subscriptions.
- Check you're signed in with the Apple Account that bought it — a family member's account is a common surprise.
- If the subscription has already expired it may no longer be listed as active. Look under Expired on the same screen.
I cancelled but I still have access.
- That's correct. Access runs to the end of the period you've paid for, then stops.
Frequently asked
Will I lose my Tapes if I cancel?
No. Your recordings stay on your iPhone. You'll need a subscription to use the app, but nothing is deleted, and resubscribing brings everything back exactly as it was.
Can you cancel it for me?
We're not able to — only Apple can change an App Store subscription, and only from the account that holds it. The steps above take about thirty seconds.
I was charged after cancelling.
Check the date the cancellation took effect in your Apple Account. If a charge landed after that, it's Apple that took it, and reportaproblem.apple.com is the place to raise it.
